I love cookbooks. I check them out of the library constantly. I love searching for new recipes. Even better I love finding a recipe that lives up to expectations. But cookbooks have gotten weird and very theme oriented. However, there is one cookbook that never seems to fail~the church cookbook.
Our MDO is at a church and the church ladies were selling cookbooks for $10. I browsed the appetizers section and decided those alone were worth $10. I made Ritzy Chicken for dinner and swooned. I mean, how can you go wrong with cream of cream, sour cream, Ritz, and butter? I might gain 5 pounds this summer cooking all these recipes.
God Bless the little church ladies and these culinary treasures they have imparted to me.
