My weekend of Bliss

Miss C is visiting Grambee and Papa Dave this weekend. Words cannot describe my states of emotional and mental health.
I wasn't home 5 minutes after the hand off before I started my lists. Hubby laughed at this little idiosyncrisy. I told him I wanted to enjoy every second of this weekend and the only way to do so was to make a list. Which turned into two and a third. First list-chores. Now this may not sound like fun but I LOVE a clean house. As much as I love desserts. To have a clean house for two whole days that no one messes up-sheer joy.
Second list-places I want to go on Saturday. I had already warned Hubby earlier in the week to fend for himself during daylight hours on Saturday. I hit all the stores on my list, a few that were not on the list, and had lunch with one of my favorite gals, Susannah. I came in the house staggering under the weight of my pacakges. Now if you have read other posts or even know me remotely you know this is hard to fathom. But it is true-I went bananas.
My final stop was at Hobby Lobby. I love me some crafts. And my dear friend Amber supports this habit with blogs and ideas. I call her from HL for a reality check and instead she gives me an additional idea. Her husband is in the background questioning our sanity-like we care. A happy mama means everyone else can be happy too.
I did not get to list three which was Christmas shopping but that's okay. It will give me time to hone a more comprehensive list(s) for day after Thanksgiving shopping. Lists that require a legal pad and pens of coordinating colors. Serious stuff.
