So Blessed and Therefore Thankful

I had every intention of RANTING in my post. It's been that day... okay that week. Then I visited Amber's blog She had an awesome post about how tiring it is to be a mama, but the utter blessing and fulfillment it does bring. And that helped. Then I visited Thrifty Decor Chick and she had listed so many things for which she was thankful. Several were on my list. So I have now been inspired to put on my big girl panties, deal with the teeny, tiny lemons given me (otherwise known as life) and list the besties of the many gifts in my life for which I am humbly and utterly grateful.
1) Salvation~I do love my God! 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in your weakness.'
2) Hubby~a man with whom I can share the worst case of food poisoning and all that goes with it and still be in love and loved.
3) Miss C~an irresistible force of love, a fierce spirit, a sense of adventure. A girl with a sassy sense of style and a mouth to match.
4) My freedom~to say what I want (even though this girl could certainly learn to say less), go where I want (Target, Hobby Lobby, and Starbucks), and wear what I want (my schlumpadinka uniform).
5) My health~I have a toddler and work with preschoolers and still the only mild cold I have had is from the Hubs. Miss C is a pretty healthy tot as well despite everything she touches she also tastes. I also have the physical ability to allow Lisa to torture me with step aerobics and strength training. I may feel more pain than I did in labor and not be able to stand quite erect-but I do have the ability and that's more than some.
6) My family~the Costanza's get loud and get a little rowdy but they love me unconditionally, forgive me when I hang up in anger, and take me shopping on Black Friday.
7) My friends~A friend who has known me forever, long enough to be sick of me but for some reason isn't; has been around enough to blackmail me but instead willingly shares her dirt as well. Friends who will watch my child so I can go on a date with Hubby, or so I can help a friend grieve the loss of her child. Friends who will show up with Krispy Kreme. A friend who will clean my house and finish my nursery when I go into premature labor. A friend who is married to a hubby with the hookup and gets us into the funnest places.
This Thanksgiving I hope you can find a reason to belly laugh, a tummy to tickle, a good pal to shop with, a love to cuddle with.
