If you follow Miss C's blog then this is a repeat. Go watch TV or buy something on eBay instead.
Miss C and I enjoyed a girls night out while Daddy had some much needed guy time. We ate outside toddler style-Dairy Queen. (I actually adore fast food, but was trying to sound like a classy broad.) Recently C has given up the high chair. Of course she has you say-she is no longer baby. Everyone knows this. But me. And Hubs. We still think she's a baby. Because she's our baby.
So we sit at a table together, enjoying the gorgeous weather and each other's company. She has a grilled cheese and applesauce. She eats the applesauce by herself. She drinks out of their cup and does not spill. She no longer is dressed like a baby in onesies and bubble outfits. She's wearing capris and flip flops, just like me.
So 900 days ago I became a mother. And I was lucky enough to have a daughter. She's now a daughter and a buddy. And one day, if I do my job right, she'll be my friend. And we'll have many more girl nights.
